Offered here is an original handbill/card for the Jimi Hendrix Experience, featuring their performance in Detroit, MI—Motor City! Joining them on the bill were Soft Machine and two local favorites, the MC5 and the Rationals. This one-night-only show took place at the Masonic Temple on February 23, 1968. The handbill showcases a fantastic psychedelic design by Gary Grimshaw and is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 299, plate 3.139. It measures 4 3/8" x 7". Please note that no poster was made for this event.

Condition: Excellent, with staple holes at the top and bottom center, tape pulls on the reverse, and some toning. This is a very exciting piece!
